On Sunday July 22nd, the eleventh edition of Appelsap Fresh Music Festival took place in the beautiful Oosterpark in Amsterdam. Since starting out as a free block jam back in 2000, Appelsap has grown into the groundbreaking festival it is today. Its line-up ranges from local talent to the elite of world-class hiphop, soul, R&B and progressive electronic music. Besides music, there is a wide range of international cuisine and activities for kids (who can get in for free under 12). Make sure to get your ticket soon for the 2013 edition.
Last year Appelsap welcomed headliners like French Montana, Danny Brown, ScHoolboy Q, Rustie, Disclosure, Jesse Boykins III next to Dutch heroes Zwart Licht, Hydroboyz, Faberyayo, Sef, Lefties Soul Connection, Mr. Polska & Sjaak and many more to the festival.
We had an amazing – extremely sunny – day and we would like to thank all artists, crew, partners and of course everybody who showed us love by visiting.
A special shout out goes to the Appelsap Family: Koos Groenendijk, The Good Guyz, Hagens PR & Strategy, Anne, Hidde, Jasmijn, Bar Producties, Grey Men and the whole production crew, without these guys this just wasn’t possible.
